It has been one of those weeks…

So incredibly busy. As some of you know, I work a part-time at-home job as a data miner. It is a computer-internet related job. I’ve been working with this company since last August fairly steady but usually my hours stay below 20 hours a week.

Recently I was asked to work on a short term “special project”. I’ve done special projects before, but this time my boss told me that she picked me specifically because of my dedication, efficiency, and accuracy on the job. It felt good to get noticed although frankly I’m just doing my job as I was hired to do. (My dad did instill a strong work ethic in me growing up.)

This project requires of me extra responsibility which means I must work every morning to fullfill one duty while working afternoons/evenings to fullfill another aspect of the project. So, needless to say, all of my online time this past week has been dedicated to my job at the tune of 10 hours a day nearly. After working, who wants to stay on the computer even for fun?

I wanted to thank everyone for your sweet comments to my last post. Sometimes when I am in a tough spot, I tend to have blinders on. It is hard to remember that I am not alone; that others go through the same thing. Your words encouraged me and brightened my whole week! I will keep being myself… because that’s the only person I know to be.

Because of my busy week, I didn’t have time for photography, so I dug this up from April. I hope you like it!

  5. Not yet, Nicki. Project ends June 15th. I stayed up last night until 4am, though, catching up and I *think* my hours will level off now. (I hope.)

Kate, I used Itty Bitty action to convert the photo. I was naughty and bought LilyBlue’s actions, too, this past weekend. :shifty: :embarrassed:
