Ultimate Blog Party 2008
I saw this about a month and a half ago on the 5 Minutes for Mom website and absolutely forgot it started yesterday until I saw Kacey joining in on the fun. Basically it is a blog party for only women bloggers. You simply add a link and a blurb about yourself and add yourself to the list. Easy peasy! You can visit here to see the list of bloggers participating (599 when I last visited!) and find some new daily blogs to read!
Who am I?
I’m Christine and am married to my soulmate, Bryon. I’m a 38-year-old, feeling like 28-year-old, stay-at-home momma to a tween girl, a toddler girl, and a baby son. My head sometimes spins as I try and keep up with this age span. I work from home part time as a web designer and a data miner, and I own a web hosting company.
Wanna know some (not so) trivial facts about me?
1. I am a born-again Christian. I became a Christian on September 22, 2000. I find I am still finding my way but God is gracious and loving. He is continuously showing me how real He is on a daily basis.
2. I was born and raised a Southern country girl but I am now living in the currently very white big city of metro Detroit.
3. I am an advocate for the attachment parenting/natural parenting philosophy. I (extend) breastfeed, babywear, co-sleep, cloth diaper, and homeschool. I own and run MI Natural Parenting Community because I wish to provide and find support for parents with similar ideas.
4. I’ve had a family website/blog since 1998. Oh, my! I just realized that it will be 10 years that I’ve been doing this!! 
5. I *love* photography and have the best of my photos on my photoblog. I have a high-end point-and-shoot camera, the Fujifilm FinePix S5200. It is OK for now but I dream of owning a SLR one day. I am a GIMPer. 
6. I was active duty Air Force for 6 years. Computers was my field. I had tough duty assignments such as Italy, San Antonio (TX), and Hawaii.
7. I’ve moved 32 times in 38 years.
8. A dog (Kumo), a bird (PeekaBoo), and a handful of fish live with us.
9. My favorite color is purple. And I’m not talking wimpy lavender purple, but a rich jewel-toned purple.
10. My favorite recipe is Tortilla Soup. Hmm Hmmmm….

Wow… I just moved from Metro detroit!!!! (well, in August)… and i just got my first SLR. I have been a Believer for longer, but still feel like a baby and I am an organization-aholic!!!!

that gimp program looks cool. I use Paintshop pro X for my manipulations. I enjoy it and I’ve always said that the camera isn’t as important as knowing what to take a picture of anyhow!!!

That tortilla soup recipe sounds good. I have never made it before but I probably will since I see that your recipe uses a crock pot. I am always looking for different crock recipes.
