Snow Storm #4
Another 10″ of snow. Since we moved up here 4 years ago, we haven’t seen so much snow and bitter cold, teeth chattering wind. We looked out our window yesterday early evening and saw this squirrel braving the cold. He must not have gotten the memo to stock up on food before winter.

He was in our trash cans but had headed across the street to their trash bags. I guess trash is easier to break into if not confined to a upright can?
Something spooked him…

There he runs! I hope he finds food, poor squirrel.

This winter is taking a toll on us. I especially miss my daisies.
And hubby is tired of shoveling.
And we are all tired of stormy gray skies. Yes, this is how it really looked yesterday evening. ::sigh::
The kids have been sick since last Tuesday. Fever. Sniffles. Cough. Body aches. Loss of appetite. Hubby called in sick today because he is coming down with it, too. And we all have cabin fever. Can you tell that we are ready for signs of spring?
Kate, Kacey… Until I can make it to the florist, keep those pretty spring flowers photos coming!
It sure lifts my spirits!

I’ll keep the spring flower pics coming, but you do know they are forced bulbs, and our winter is as grey and cold as yours…though we haven’t had much snow, thank goodness! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up and I can get out and take real live pics of flowers, and trees with leaves, and green grass, and warm sunshine!!

Oh who cares if they are forced bulbs or not.
I haven’t had a chance to get out with sick kids and love seeing your beautiful flowers. You make it feel like spring has come.
My neighbor 2 houses down is a Master Gardener. This year I’ll be asking her if I can photograph her flowers. They are just amazing!

I don’t know why but our weather is unseasonably warm here in Maryland. I’ll keep my flowers coming. And I may have an abundance if I make it to the Philadelphia Flower Show next month. I’ve been invited by a friend.
I cannot believe how much snow you have!!!
