Getting Cozy
Remember earlier in the week I promised to show you my “Cozy Corner” on a rainy day? Today it is not raining, but it is expected to snow 5-10 inches. When the RealFeel temp is 7 degrees, it is time to get cozy!
I have two spots that are where I sit the most. This first spot is in our front sitting room. This is my favorite chair to sit in when I have some alone time. Because it is next to a large window, I can sit and watch the world go by. My Bible sits on the little table as well as my current Bible study book, Paul by Chuck Swindoll. The blanket draped over the back is an official Lipizzaner throw blanket. My oldest horse-crazy daughter and I went to see the “World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions” show in San Antonio, TX 4 years ago. (Awesome show, by the way.)

Because I am often rocking a baby or toddler throughout the day, this leather rocking recliner is where you can find me the most. It has everything I need to survive hours of nursing and rocking…

Where in your home is your “Cozy Corner”? :)

I have an overstuffed chair in the corner of the family room. Denim covered. I’m a denim kind of gal. Right by the bookshelves. With an antique singer sewing machine beside it for a table, and an old quilt my grandmother made hanging behind the chair. Such a nice cozy corner.

I have a loveseat I’ve been sitting on and my sliding glass door is nearby from where I can see my little world. I use a laptop too, but it’s dial-up and I can’t go far from the phone cord. Sigh . . .
Must change this situation!

Just sent a comment to the effect that you
seem to me to bear a strong resemblance to
my mother - hair, eyes, brow, and lips. If
you already read that one, just ignore this
one. Did comment that have managed to enter
a number of family photos on my Ancestry.com
site. Marion
